Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) – Center for Civil Aviation Training – New Delhi
Introduction: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course covers the entire spectrum of engineering as high degree of technical skill and acumen attributes to Flight safety and maintenance safety. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course unlike other branches is directly controlled by the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation Department, Govt of India. The AME course duration is 3 years, out of which 21/2 years is theoretical and practical followed by six months of post institutional practical training (OJT) in an aviation organization, approved by the DGCA. Admission is made on the basis of entrance examination. The course normally commences in July in each academic year.
Eligibility : Students of any nationality may be admitted for the AME course. Candidates shall have passed 10+2 Class with an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics & Mathematics / PCM or three years Diploma in any branch of Engineering. 
Medical : The student will have to produce a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner with minimum MBBS qualification to certify that he / she has no physical disability and the colour vision is normal.
Fee Details: Rs. 2,32,500/-
Mode of Payment : By demand draft in favour of Center for Civil Aviation Training payable at New Delhi.
Addmission Procedure: Registration starts in March every year. Students are admitted on first cum first serve basis. If registration is more than 150 then entrance exams may be conducted. The registered students are admitted after checking the qualification & medical.
Duration: 3 Years including OJT
