About SASTRA: The dreams of its founding fathers took shape in 1984 in the form of Shanmugha College of Engineering which is now renamed, SHANMUGHA ARTS, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & RESEARCH ACADEMY [SASTRA]. It has carved a niche for itself as a Centre for fostering and developing the body, mind and sprit of its students. Introduction: Cache 09, debuting this year, is a National Level Inter-college Technical Symposium conducted by the School Of Computing, Sastra University. Aimed at bringing out the intrinsic talents of students, we have a plethora of events out there with enthralling prizes to be won!! Coalescing technical & non technical attributes, the arena is set up for the best to take on the better. So here we go… Unveiling Cache 09 for you
Rules: All the outside college participants are requested to notify us in prior, i.e. before October 1st regarding hospitality requirements. All the main events except Paper presentation and Gaming have a minimal registration fee of Rs.20/- per head. For the filler events, it will be an on the spot registration on a token basis. For Sastra participants, the participation tags can be availed from Oct 8th onwards. A demonstration session will be conducted for Dhwani – Sound mixing event, Pixel – Poster presentation event in the first week of October regarding the usage of the respective software. Specific event format for all the events will be updated soon. Keep checking this space.
