Introduction: Pycon India 2009 is a community conference by the Python developer community. A purely volunteer effort, it is being hosted for the first time in India, and will attract some of the best Python developers in India and abroad. Pycon India 2009 would be held in Bangalore, India, between Saturday, 26th September 2009 and Sunday, 27th September 2009. Pycon India is a volunteer run conference making Pycon India 2009 reliant on sponsorship to help turn it into a successful and memorable event.The conference will consist of a number of full length presentations, a number of shorter lightning talks and open sprints and Bofs.

How To Apply:
Register at http://in.pycon.org before Aug 1st (Early Bird Registration : Rs 200/-). Go to the site and register as a user. After you register, you will be encouraged to fill in your profile. Once you fill in your profile, you will be registered as a delegate and the date of registration will be recorded and displayed on your profile to enable you to take advantage of the Early Bird discount. Print out your profile and produce it at the reception desk of the conference. The website has a navigation page with instructions on how to propose a talk or volunteer for helping out. Or just drop in at the venue on the event days ( Spot Registration: Rs. 300/-)
