Introduction: I am pleased to invite the judges, the members of the Bar, the law teachers, law students and others interested in the theme from all over the world to attend the Regional Conference of the International Law Association being held at New Delhi, the Capital of the World’s largest democracy on 19th and 20th September, 2009. The theme of the Conference is of great current interest to judges, lawyers, jurists, academics as well as to governments and trade and industry all over the world. International trade and foreign investment has increased manifold in India and the topics are of great relevance to India.I am sure, the discussions, development of ideas and social events during the Conference would improve relationships between Nations apart from strengthening the objectives of international trade and foreign investment and will mobilize public opinion to fulfill this objective. Some International consensus is the need of the hour.I would like to accord a warm welcome to our overseas guests to India, which preserves an enviable heritage.I hope that the active participation of internationally reputed legends and jurists will inspire all to become united on a common platform to find solutions for the global challenge.

Paper Submission: The participants are invited to write papers on any of sub-topic mentioned in the Tentative Programme. The participants are requested to adhere to following guidelines while submitting the paper: General Instructions:
Last date for paper submission is 31st July 2009.
Only online submission of papers shall be accepted
Online papers should be uploaded in doc file.
Organizing Committee reserves the right to Accept or Reject.
Those whose papers are accepted will be given preference for speaking slot at the Conference.
Paper publishing right will be with the Organising Committee.
All Presenting authors must register for the conference as delegates.
Paper selected will be intimated to the authors via email.
