About Kurukshetra University: The Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 as a unitary residential University and its foundation stone was laid by late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Located in the holy city of Kurukshetra, land of the historical battle of ‘Mahabharata’ and the great message of Bhagwad Gita, its campus is situated on the western bank of Brahm Sarover (the holy tank) and extends over an area of over 400 acres. Starting with only the Department of Sanskrit, it has grown into a multi-faculty University as one of the premier centres for advanced study and research in the region.
AIM:
Preparing a class of scholars and professionals with ingrained human values, adequately equipped with enviable competencies and dedicated to the advancement of society through preservation, creation and application of knowledge in the emerging global scenario.
Eligibility:
B.E./B.Tech. or its equivalent in Computer Sc. & Engg./Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication/Tele- Communication from any AICTE approved Institutions with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.M.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics from UGC approved institutions with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.M.C.A. from any AICTE/UGC approved institutions with overall overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate (minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably with valid GATE score.
How To Apply:
Prospectus and Application Form can be downloaded from website: http://www.kukinfo.com such Forms must be accompanied DD of Rs.600/-(Rs.150/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, K.U. payable at Kurukshetra. Candidates whose result of Final Semester/Final Year of the qualifying examination is not declared can also apply and take provisional admission in M. Tech. programmes on their own responsibility for fulfilling the eligibility. For admission to M. Tech. courses the candidates who have passed GATE with valid score in the concerned subject need not to appear in the Entrance Test. They will be considered for admission to M.Tech. Courses on the basis of GATE score. If a candidate want to apply more than one M.Tech. Course he will have to submit separate Application Form for each M.Tech. Course.Self attested photocopies of required certificates/DMCs and documents for weightages and photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be attached with the Admission Form.
