About SHIMT: acred Heart Institute of Management and Technology (SHIMT) established by the Registered society of the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow, are run by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculte (CMI) Fathers of Bijnor Provice. The CMIs operate 287 educational institutions including arts/science, technical, professional and engineering colleges in India, hospitals/health centres (48) and a medical college, social/rural development projects (162), cultural/communication centres (21), and publishing/printing houses (49) as part of its mission.
Introduction: A candidate will opt for specialization in any two groups listed above (A, B, C, and D) to be known as major specialization and minor specialization. For major specialization a candidate will have to offer all the four papers from a group. For minor specialization a candidate will have to offer two papers, one from III semester and the other from IV semester from a group other than the group opted for major specialization.
Eligibility: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Admission Procedure: The candidate has to write the SEE-UPTU Entrance Examination for MBA conducted by U.P Technical University and participates in the counseling sessions conducted by the same authority. After the counseling sessions are over, if seats are remaining vacant, those seats will be filled by the candidates who have qualified themselves through any of the recognized All India Management Aptitude Tests in the order of their rank. After the counseling the candidates who are assigned to the Institute must report in the Institute at the earliest, fill in the application form of the Institute and remit the fees. Those who are directly seeking the admission from the Institute for the remaining seats must apply in the prescribed form giving their rank in management aptitude test. The selected candidates will be invited for an interview and when finally selected they must remit the fees and take admission.
Fees: Fees structure will be finalized as per the decision of the fee structure Committee appointed by the goverment of U.P. . The fees may be paid in two installments at the beginning of each semester in the bank account of the Institute, details of which are available from the office. Cash will not be accepted in the office of the Institute
Registration: Application forms and prospectus are available from the office on payment of Rs.1000/-.
