About IIMC: The Government of India in 1962-63 sought the advice of the Ford Foundation/UNESCO team of internationally known mass communication specialists who recommended the setting up of a national institute for training, teaching and research in mass communication.
Introduction: An Internationally reputed institute for academic, practical training and research in Mass communication, IIMC is an autonomous body funded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
Duration: October, 2009 to December 2009
Eligibility: 10 + 2 passed. Preference will be given to those candidates who have a graduation. Best knowledge of computer essential.
Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years
No of Seats: 30 (Thirty)
Mode of selection: Based on the Interview of short – listed candidates.
Fee Details: Rs. 25,000 (payable at the time of admission)
Application Procedure: The application form can be downloaded from IIMC website http://www.iimc.gov.in. Last day of receipt of application forms completed in all respect is on or before 4 PM of September 30th, 2009.
