About EIMT: EIMT is a technical institute essentially offering under graduate programmes in various branches of Engineering it also offers post-Graduate programme in management(MBA). It is affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow and is approved by A.I.C.T.E, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Introduction: The programme follows a strict method of teaching with lectures, discussions, Practicals, tutorial, assignments, training in industries etc. The aim of the course to disseminate knowledge and to foster co-operation and exchange of ideas between academic community and industrial organization and to develop entrepreneurship skill among the students. The emphasis is on over-all growth of budding engineers & mangers with clarity of concept, sharpening of mental reflex etc. The students are provided extensive practical training in different engineering & applied science laboratories so that they can be efficient in making practical application in future.
Eligibility: Student should have passed 10+2 Examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Bio Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
Duration: 4 Years
Admission Procedure: The admissions to the B.Tech Program would be made on the basis of SEE, conducted by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow, & through AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination).The admission to 75% of the total seats would be made through State level counseling conducted by U.P. Technical University & 10% through AIEEE. The counseling is done on the basis of merit based on ranks obtained by the students in SEE.15 % Management admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute level counseling based on the merit of SEE/AIEEE Rank. For admission to the General category seats, U. P. Technical University advertises the counseling schedule in the National dailies like Times of India, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can also be seen at www.UPTU.org. And for Management category admissions, candidates need to register in the Institute latest by 30th June 2008. Registration forms can be obtained from the campus, Excel Institute of Management & Technology or Delhi Corporate office and can also be downloaded from www.excel.org.in.The registration fee is Rs.500, which is to be paid in the form of DD favoring Excel Institute of Management & Technology, payable at Chhata or Delhi.
